Spiders now cover ChatGPT (rex-spider-chatgpt), Gemini (rex-spider-gemini), Google Search AI Mode (rex-spider-google-ai), and Perplexity (rex-spider-perplexity). Each platform is a dedicated rex-spider-<platform> module following the shared plugin pattern.

rex-content-processing: field-level redaction

Section titled “rex-content-processing: field-level redaction”

Shipped

Redaction is controlled field by field. Any field whose name ends in * (such as content* or title*) is always passed through redaction before it is stored or sent, and researchers can mark other fields the same way in a module’s code. Renaming a field also renames it in the exported data, so analysis code should use the new name.

TypeScript strict mode across all public modules

Section titled “TypeScript strict mode across all public modules”

In progress

Enabling TypeScript strict mode incrementally across the module ecosystem to catch latent type errors before they reach researchers’ extensions. So far 6 of 24 public modules use strict mode.

Items here are confirmed as wanted but not yet scheduled.
